Now Hiring: Revenue Coordinator Location: Fort Worth, TX ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Work closely with the Revenue Management team and assist in setting effective rate strategy based on current trends, available inventory, and market demand, with the goal of increasing the hotels’ market share. Maintain Excel spreadsheets to assist in analyzing trends and hotel performance. Enter and maintain hotel performance data in forecast and budget systems. Analyze competitor pricing and share results and suggestions with the Regional Revenue Management team to ensure hotel rates are properly positioned within the market. Partner with the Revenue Management team to ensure hotels are participating in all Brand Initiatives. E-Commerce: Collaborate with the E-Commerce team to monitor the portfolio of hotels’ online appearance on OTAs, brand sites, vanity sites, and other relevant pages. Maintain relationships with key internet accounts and ensure hotel rates, availability, and placement on these sites are favorable. Report to work for scheduled shifts, on time and in uniform, in accordance with company policy. SKILLS & ABILITIES Strong computer skills required, with an emphasis on Microsoft Office and the ability to build and maintain Excel spreadsheets. Strong analytical skills. Ability to communicate effectively in a positive and upbeat manner, both verbally and in writing. Innovative and self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and research new domains. Excellent communication, presentation, organization, time management, and listening skills. Demonstrates self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm at all times. Effectively interact with management, Team Members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines. Maintain flexibility in job responsibilities as the company continues to grow its hotel portfolio. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Two years of hotel or reservations department experience preferred. Solid understanding of PMS, reservations, and revenue management systems is a plus. HOURS Due to the nature of the business, scheduling may vary and may include weekends and holidays. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION General interior office environment. Minimal distractions, primarily from phones and brief interruptions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Ability to sit for long periods of time (up to four hours). Ability to stand for long periods of time. Reliable transportation required for travel to regional locations. Ability to travel by vehicle or air to various locations, conferences, etc. May be required to lift more than 40 pounds on occasion. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY OF THE POSITION Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, picking/pinching with fingers, typing, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion.
