About The Position

Performs complex auditing and clerical work in connection with the maintenance of financial records and the preparation of financial reports. Compile, audit, and record revenue for Cliff Castle Casino Hotel (CCCH) and the Lodge. Due to the audit independence, gambling is not permitted at CCCH.

Requirements

  • HS DIPLOMA
  • One (1) year experience in an accounting or bookkeeping position, required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
  • Know ten-key by touch
  • Must be 18+ years old and be available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a drug test and background check for an AZ Gaming License.
  • Must adhere to all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
  • Must be committed to providing exceptional guest service through a welcoming, friendly, and professional environment.
  • Aim to exceed guest expectations with attentive, personalized service and prompt responses and resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and reconcile revenue and other financial and statistical information for all revenue departments utilizing various accounting systems’ reports.
  • Research, investigate, and correct financial data variances and discrepancies.
  • Audit revenues and other financial and statistical information daily, accurately and efficiently.
  • Reviews source documents from various gaming areas for compliance with the minimum internal control standards and company policies.
  • Enter daily revenue information into journal entry format for general ledger upload.
  • Performs daily audits accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policy and procedures and documents the results of the audit.
  • In coordination with the Revenue Audit Supervisor and Staff Accountant, prepare any requested financial or statistical analysis reports.
  • Produces audited and unaudited reports for each department.
  • Ensures proper filing and storage of audit paperwork.
  • Provides required support to management, Internal Audit, and external auditors.
