About The Position

This position is responsible for keeping records of financial transactions for organization by performing the following duties. In addition, we strive to deliver our Five Star Experience to Guests and fellow Team Members. Requirements

  • Must possess an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • One to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must pass periodic random drug screens.
  • Must be able to pass background suitability investigation.
  • Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License.
  • Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses.
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver our Five Star Experience to Guests and all Team Members by embodying our Mission Statement and Service Promise while adhering to department service standards. This entails consistency performing our service expectations of: Welcoming, Proactive, Seamless, Personalized and Valued.
  • Verify, allocate, and post details of daily transactions to spreadsheet or computer files from documents such as VGM slips, receipts and computer printouts.
  • Reconcile and balance tapes and records to daily cash count and summarizes details in separate ledgers or computer files.
  • Compile reports to show statistics such as cash receipts and machine payouts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to operation of the business.
  • Perform daily audit analysis of various functions to assess risks and discrepancies and potentially fraudulent activity or trends.
  • Reviews all offsetting variances that require investigation, research and problem solving based on approved policies and procedures.
  • Analyze transactions, identify risks and provide recommendations to management based on audit results.
  • Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) as well as all Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS).
  • Present a positive image of the Tribal organization to its guests and vendors and to assist them as required.
  • Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the departmental goals and objectives.
