Your Way Insurance, has an exciting opportunity for a Revenue Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in analyzing revenue streams, reconciling collections, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting under GAAP - specifically ASC 606. You'll leverage your analytical and statistical skills to translate complex data into actionable insights, supporting both operational and strategic decisions across the organization

  • Analyze revenue transactions and assist in applying ASC 606 principles, including contract identification, performance obligations, and variable consideration.
  • Reconcile and monitor cash collections, accounts receivable, and contract assets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of revenue recognition.
  • Build and maintain data models to forecast revenue trends, analyze policy-level performance, and detect anomalies or potential write-offs.
  • Conduct statistical and variance analyses across revenue streams, identifying patterns that inform leadership decisions and forecasting accuracy.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Sales, Strategy, Operations) to validate revenue inputs, assumptions, and underlying data sources.
  • Support the month-end and quarter-end close process with detailed reconciliations, schedules, and documentation for internal and external audit.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance data integrity between systems (e.g., Snowflake, Salesforce, and Sage Intacct) to ensure consistency in revenue and receivables reporting.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvements across financial and operational datasets.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring of financial performance.
  • Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration) and 2 years of related experience required.
  • Understanding of GAAP, with a willingness to learn and apply key principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn new software. Experience with existing tools is a plus.
  • Experience in data analysis and working with large datasets; experience with data visualization (e.g. PowerBI) and SQL or Snowflake queries is a plus
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team in a fast-paced environment.
