About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Revenue Accounting Senior Manager (Contract) in the United States. This is a high-impact, short-term role ideal for an experienced revenue accounting professional with deep knowledge of US GAAP (ASC 606). You will lead complex revenue recognition evaluations, review new contracts, and ensure technical accounting policies are accurately applied across global teams. The role requires strong collaboration with finance, accounting, and commercial teams, as well as interaction with external auditors to support quarterly and annual reporting. You will document policies, prepare memos and schedules for audits, and contribute to financial statement disclosures. This contract role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, influence critical revenue processes, and potentially extend beyond the initial term.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including pharmaceutical, life sciences, or technical revenue accounting roles
  • Public accounting experience required
  • Demonstrated proficiency with ASC 606 revenue recognition
  • Strong written communication, memo drafting, and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple levels of the organization
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams, and working closely with auditors and cross-functional partners

Responsibilities

  • Lead revenue recognition evaluation (ASC 606) for new product launches, contracts, and reimbursement agreements
  • Review complex gross-to-net calculations and ensure accurate application of accounting conclusions by local teams
  • Document revenue accounting policies and maintain training materials for global and regional teams
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including finance, commercial, and SEC reporting to support internal and external financial requirements
  • Prepare revenue-related disclosures, audit schedules, and memos to support quarterly and annual audits
  • Collaborate with international accounting teams to support statutory audits and financial statements
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert, providing guidance and presenting complex accounting analyses to senior management
