About The Position

Responsible for accurately recording daily audit totals in a timely manner, thereby ensuring smooth and efficient operations in the Revenue Audit Department.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Accounting Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Must be extremely numbers-oriented, detailed, and computer-literate, with superior spreadsheet skills, proficiency in applicable software highly preferred.
• Ability to work on special projects in a group or independent setting.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with audits preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for verification of accuracy and reconciliation of previous day’s departmental revenue activities.
• Thorough review and follow up of necessary revenue center generated report data on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Implement and monitor compliance with all policies and procedures, regulations, and controls of the company.
• Assists with the monitoring of all financial activities on property, with respect to Revenue Accounting, to ensure that all applicable laws, rules, regulations and controls of the company, the Federal and State Tax Commissions, and the Gaming Commission are enforced throughout the Revenue Accounting Department.
• All other duties as assigned to the revenue accountant / auditor.
