Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Process all damaged, recalled, returned, and reclamation merchandise accurately and within required timelines
  • Execute damages and recall processing using approved systems and applications (including mPI and OSP Salvage workflows)
  • Transport and stage merchandise to designated salvage, reclamation, or outbound areas according to procedure
  • Prepare, label, and document transfers, ensuring paperwork accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety standards in salvage and receiving areas
  • Ensure hazardous and regulated items are handled according to policy
  • Partner with leadership and Asset Protection to support shrink reduction and throw mitigation efforts
  • Communicate effectively regarding salvage volume, issues, and priorities
  • Support DSD and receiving functions as assigned, ensuring vendor and product flow accuracy
  • Follow all company safety, compliance, and operational guidelines
  • Build rapport with customers.
  • Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
  • Respond to customer questions in an effective manner.
  • Stock product and maintain product displays according to merchandising standards.
  • Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.
  • Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for our customers.
