Position Overview: Siemens Mobility's Field Services Department is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive RMA Coordinator to manage the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process for Rolling Stock projects across North America. This role is essential to maintaining operational efficiency, vendor accountability, and timely resolution of material issues. The RMA Coordinator will report directly to the Logistics Supervisor and collaborate closely with Field Sites, Vendors, and internal departments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to track and manage multiple processes simultaneously.
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities.
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in procurement or logistics.
  • Ability to travel to various Field Sites across the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate material support for field sites during Commissioning and Warranty phases.
  • Manage RMA cases in Salesforce and liaise with suppliers and field sites.
  • Create and maintain SAP purchase orders, track ETAs, adjust funds, and clear invoices promptly.
  • Resolve issues with lost or misrouted shipments and monitor repair ETAs, FARs, and replacement parts.
  • Oversee borrowed part logistics, documentation, and returns; arrange expedited or same-day deliveries as needed.
  • Conduct vendor meetings for overdue RMAs and high-volume suppliers; prepare and update reports.
  • Act as liaison between field sites and vendors to maintain strong relationships and open communication.
  • Support Field Services with data extraction, reporting, and ad-hoc requests; collaborate cross-functionally across Siemens Mobility.
  • Ensure compliance with Siemens Mobility standards and operational procedures.
