Financial Integrators is seeking a Retirement Plans Service Associate to join our Qualified Retirement Plans team. This is a highly analytical, hands-on role for a self-starter who enjoys the intersection of data, compliance, and client service. You’ll partner closely with financial advisors, plan sponsors, and recordkeepers to provide seamless service. We’re looking for a critical thinker with strong analytical skills who is ready to dive into the details of a regulated professional services environment. Location: This position is based in Des Moines, IA. A hybrid work schedule is available, with a mix of in-office and remote work to support collaboration, flexibility, and business needs. What You’ll Do: Preparing qualified retirement plan review meeting agendas Preparation and processing of retirement plan paperwork, including group retirement plan forms, recordkeeper forms, TPA forms, and investment reports Creation of retirement plan proposals Coordination of investment reports with the qualified retirement plan investment committee Direction and handling of participant inquiries Assisting plan sponsors and recordkeepers with questions and processes Coordinating with TPA regarding compliance functions Following up on post-client meeting tasks ensuring completion of plan-specific task work Facilitating discussions between advisors and retirement plan service providers What’s in it for you? Finally, we invest in your future through a 401(k) plan and a robust Employee Assistance Program for professional support Requirements What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s or other college degree, certification, or equivalent 0-2+ years in the financial industry; experience with retirement plan administration preferred Good financial and analytical skills Ability to gather and analyze client data Ability to identify, meet, and follow through with team tasks and client needs Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently & accurately Self-starter, problem solver, goal oriented, and a team player Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship building skills required Physical Requirements Standing or sitting for extended periods of time in an office environment Working on a computer for extended periods of time Lifting up to 15 pounds
