Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience working with trust accounting, custodial operations, or retirement plan operations
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using Relius or similar retirement plan administration/recordkeeping systems
  • Accuracy when completing transactional and reconciliation work
  • Document procedures and update operational checklists
  • Analyze data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues
  • You are a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident or possess other unrestricted U.S. work authorization and will not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or anytime in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and address daily transactional or reconciliation issues of the RPS recordkeeping system and the trust accounting system/custodial platform
  • Upload sponsor payroll files to recordkeeping system and provide support to Plan Sponsors with the DVC process
  • Train Account Executive in DVC process to provide back-up
  • Provide back-up and assistance for the RPS participant distributions and understanding the 1099-R requirements and ERISA rules
  • Provide support for processing RPS year-end valuations/plan audits
  • Develop and perform ongoing quality control checks of transactions and accounts for RPS
  • Manage the Access database, maintaining the reports for the annual valuation process and retirement plan deadlines
  • Oversee processing of the quarterly RPS fees
  • Review of all RPS procedures and checklists, remove outdated procedures and update for new Recordkeeping and custodial environment
  • Understand the setup and maintenance of the client web product for the RPS recordkeeping system and help troubleshoot client access issues
  • Provide backup support for 1099R processes
  • Prepare daily cash and checking reconciliation between the bank and Trust Accounting System. Facilitate cash transfers between sponsors and HTCI and between custodians
  • Provide reports/holdings for RPS Account Reviews and multiple tasks

  • Base salary of $70,000-$80,000 plus discretionary bonus (exact base salary amount will be dependent on experience)
