About The Position

The Senior Retirement Plan Analyst serves as a key advisor to clients, specializing in defined contribution plan administration and strategic plan design. This role partners with business owners and professional advisors to resolve complex issues, deliver actionable reporting insights, and ensure accurate and efficient plan operations. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting and mentoring junior team members. Why work here? Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with an independent Third-Party Administration (TPA) firm
  • Extensive expertise in qualified defined contribution plan administration, including deep knowledge of ERISA and IRS/DOL regulations
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Relius Administration software
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively

Nice To Haves

  • CPA designation preferred
  • ASPPA credentials strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted consultant to clients by evaluating and recommending strategic plan design enhancements
  • Collaborate closely with business owners, financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to address inquiries and resolve issues efficiently
  • Present and interpret quarterly plan reports to Plan Trustees, providing clear insights and recommendations
  • Partner with auditors on large plan audits, including the preparation and review of audit workpapers
  • Conduct in-depth research on complex plan-related matters and develop appropriate corrective actions
  • Interpret and apply defined contribution plan documents to ensure compliance and operational accuracy
  • Provide oversight and quality review of plan administration work completed by junior Analysts
