Remote or hybrid work is not available for this position. Candidates must be able to work on-site five days per week during designated work hours. Position Overview This role supports financial advisors who work with Paylocity clients on retirement plan strategy and administration. The Advisor Support Specialist serves as a liaison between advisors, recordkeepers, and internal teams, ensuring accurate and timely support across plan setup, investment details, and operational functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retirement services.
  • Experience working with financial advisors preferred.
  • Understanding of retirement plan structures and investment vehicles. QKA designation preferred.
  • Experience in customer service or client-facing experience, supporting advisors, brokers, or plan sponsors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills with strong emphasis on relationship management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple inquiries concurrently, effectively prioritizing tasks, managing timelines, and ensuring deliverables are met.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of retirement plan structures and investment vehicles. QKA designation preferred.
  • Experience working with financial advisors preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 support to financial advisors supporting Paylocity clients regarding product features, plan configuration capabilities, investment availability, and operational procedures.
  • Build strong relationships with advisors by delivering consistent, reliable, and consultative support.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendor to resolve advisor inquiries, ensuring expectations are aligned and timely resolution.
  • Assist with documentation and reporting required by advisors.
  • Support advisor onboarding and training related to Paylocity’s retirement services and system capabilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of advisor interactions and service requests.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assist with troubleshooting operational issues to provide solutions to advisors.
