About The Position

The Staff Pad has partnered with a leading hospitality technology provider to hire a Retention Specialist. This role focuses on retaining and expanding existing hotel property accounts by managing renewals, executing retention strategies, and identifying upsell opportunities. The ideal candidate combines consultative selling, contract management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive long-term customer value and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in retention, renewals, or solution sales
  • Proven success upselling and retaining enterprise customers
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Consultative, customer-focused approach with high emotional intelligence
  • CRM proficiency and strong organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hospitality, managed services, or technology solutions
  • Familiarity with multi-location or enterprise accounts

Responsibilities

  • Manage renewals and contract execution for existing customers
  • Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities within assigned accounts
  • Execute retention plans for at-risk customers
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and retention metrics
  • Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Deployment to resolve issues
  • Support customer business reviews and service assessments
  • Share customer insights to support product and go-to-market strategy
