About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Linux/Network Engineer to support and engineer Amazon Grocery Store technologies. The ideal candidate will focus on supporting and engineering store servers and network solutions that integrate with Linux systems in AWS. Key job responsibilities - Support and maintain retail servers integrated with Linux systems in AWS. - Support and maintain retail network devices including firewalls and load balancers. - Manage and troubleshoot Red Hat/CentOS/Ubuntu Linux operating systems. - Develop and implement solutions for retail servers, particularly in store Hosts and Hypervisors. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between enterprise (AWS and on-prem) server solutions and retail devices. - Contribute to DevOps practices and release management for production environments. - Experience with Linux, primarily Red Hat Linux. - Experience as a DevOps engineer releasing to production environments. - Experience with Bash and Python scripting. - 5+ years of AWS experience. - Proficiency in Red Hat, CentOS, and Ubuntu Linux operating systems. - Experience with virtualized network functions supporting firewalls, route/switch, and load balancers. - Experience building firewall ACL and troubleshooting network route/port issues. - Experience building and managing load balancers. - Experience with VNF systems. - 3+ years of Linux engineering experience. - Experience with device engineering, server engineering, and control systems. - Strong understanding of integration between enterprise server solutions and retail devices. The base pay for this position ranges from $94,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $207,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
