Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a systems engineer role overseeing complex IT infrastructure
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux system development, integration, and testing
  • Experience with Red Hat Satellite and YUM
  • Experience securing Red Hat products in accordance with DoD standards
  • Knowledge of Linux or Windows OS and networking from a system design perspective
  • Ability to effectively install, configure, and administer in a multi-system or multi-application environment
  • Ability to create and test virtualized environments, such as VMWare, OpenShift, Hyper-V, or AWS
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • DoD 8140 or 8570 Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II or higher Certification, such as Security+ Certification

Nice To Haves

  • 8+ years of experience in systems engineering
  • Experience with Git, GitLab, GitLab Pipelines, Artifactory, Confluence, and Jira
  • Experience with Ansible development, such as Inventories, Collections, Roles, Modules, or Playbooks
  • Experience with container technologies, such as OpenShift, Docker, or Podman
  • Experience with IT monitoring solutions, such as MS Systems Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Solarwinds, ManageEngine, or Dynatrace
  • Experience with Configuration Management and Asset Compliance solutions, including MS Endpoint Configuration Manager, such as System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Red Hat Certification, such as RHCSA or RHCE, Scrum, Agile, Microsoft, CISSP, SANS, or ITIL Certification
  • Clearance : Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required.
