About The Position

URM Stores, Inc. is currently looking for a motivated Retail Systems Administrator to join our growing team! Our Retail Systems Administrator will provide a wide variety of support to our Member Owner’s, external and internal customers, and sister companies. This position will be responsible for adhering to the Companies best practices and standards on the Retail system platforms to configure, customize, administer, and script in support of the mission, strategies, and tactics of the customers. The ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and remedy problems is essential to this position. This position will have an opportunity for remote work, however, must be the Inland Pacific Northwest and able to travel as needed in support of our customers. Travel could be up to 25% and as far as a few hundred miles depending on the applicant’s location. Salary range $80,168 - $85,000 annually DOE plus so much more!

Requirements

IT related Degree or at least five years of experience in IT related role.
ECRS POS experience strongly preferred
Experience in Retail Operations and/or Systems.
Application Support Experience
Business Analysis and Process documentation experience
Understand Data Base Concepts
Communication Skills
Understanding of complex system environments

Responsibilities

Understand the basic functions of the assigned business area (Grocery Retail Operations).
Develop, recommend, and/or implement new business solutions.
Analyzes existing business and computer operations, process applications and systems.
Modify existing application configuration/processes for increased efficiency.
Prepare estimates for assigned projects and/or tasks.
Develop test plans (alpha, unit, system) and approve the results of such plans.
Develop implementation plans with the business area that include, but are not limited to, training data conversion and set up.
Work with the business area to develop new or modified application workflows that follow standards and establish policies.
Ensure the success of assigned projects by managing expectations and controlling exceptions by clearly defining and working within the scope and communicating accurate status.
Understand the various application platforms used by the assigned business area.
Work with user base directly in a professional and supportive manner.
Provide on-call support as required.
If required: Provide written and oral reports.
Review Programmer/Analyst business solutions.
Prepare, manage, and report budgets for assigned projects.
