This means caring deeply for our guests, associates, and communities—treating people like family, giving back generously, and creating spaces where everyone feels valued.   Through our partnership with charity: water, we’re also committed to bringing clean water to one million people in Africa.   Retail Sales Supervisor  Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Retail Sales Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the director, operations manager and assistant manager in control of all aspects of the retail department within the resort. The supervisor will be familiar with all store layouts and help maintain the visual presence, service standards and cleanliness for all locations but will have a primary focus on a delegated store as the core responsibility.  As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences.  This is an hourly wage role.

Requirements

  • 2 years experience supervising or working in a hotel, resort, sales or retail environment is helpful.
  • A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.  
  • A good knowledge of computers and register systems is ideal.
  • Maintain a high-energy level to be able to be in a stationary position throughout the day on the retail/sales floor.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a wide variety of items are available for the guests to purchase and that store shelves are fully stocked.

  • Ensure that all retail outlets are kept clean, orderly, well lit, with creative displays to attract customers.  Includes but is not limited to decorating for the holidays.
  • Assist in achieving sales revenue goals on a monthly basis.
  • In charge of training and guiding all retail team members.
