About The Position

America’s Thrift Stores is hiring a Retail Supervisor to help lead daily front-end and sales floor operations. This role ensures a clean, organized store while delivering a fast, friendly experience for every customer and donor.
Schedule: Rotating weekly shifts — one week opening, one mid, one closing, with one weekend off per month.

Requirements

• 2+ years of retail leadership (Supervisor, Lead, or Key Holder)
• Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills
• Ability to coach and develop a team
• Comfortable working a rotating schedule (open, mid, close, weekends)
• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
• Must pass background check and have a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Lead and support retail team members on the sales floor
• Coach, train, and recognize team performance
• Ensure excellent customer and donor service
• Oversee register operations, cash handling, and daily procedures
• Maintain merchandise standards, organization, and displays
• Assist with hiring, scheduling, and onboarding
• Monitor inventory levels and support overall store operations
• Step in as Manager on Duty when needed
