About The Position

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a genuine interest in energy, technology, and a passion to deliver products for a growing company. The Retail Structuring Analyst completes retail pricing requests and generates commercial contracts in accordance with Company’s retail pricing procedures and risk policy. The Retail Structuring Analyst also manages the system around which strategic customer opportunities are initiated internally. Is responsible for managing data collection and initial design thinking around large/strategic deals. Generally, the Retail Structuring Analyst is responsible for coordinating retail pricing functional requirements for these large deals, contributing to deal design and ensuring internal onboarding of complex transactions post close. This role partners with Origination. Reporting into the Retail Structuring Lead the role requires self-motivated, dedicated, and responsible individual with the ability to perform well under pressure.

Requirements

  • Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, marketing or operations, Master’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years in Retail Energy pricing and structuring experience
  • Experience with proven results in the Retail Energy sector
  • Good communication skills, written and oral, for example ensuring sales agents are kept informed of any delays in turning around pricing requests, or outlining the rationale behind a decision not to approve credit for a customer
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; must be able to provide timely and accurate data analysis
  • Strong business writing skills and experience developing communication in various formats
  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Excellent analytical, organization and time management skills, with the ability to maintain a strict level of attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates for pricing and valuation of large/strategic customer opportunities. Will require work with Customers, Originators, Pricing, Portfolio Managers, Finance and others.
  • Company's retail pricing procedures and risk policies
  • Ensure that all customer data is complete and an accurate representation of expected customer load (before, during, and after the retail pricing process)
  • Assists in the identification and resolution of data-related issues
  • Contributes to the testing and validation of new pricing software releases and improvements
  • Inputs and maintains customer-specific data into reporting and tracking databases and systems
  • Interfaces with other internal departments in the resolution of retail business issues as required
  • Works on general projects individually or as part of larger team
  • Contribute to continuing improvement of strategy and products
  • Other duties as assigned
