About The Position

The Retail Store Leader is responsible for creating a positive, high-performance environment for both employees and customers. This role focuses on achieving operational excellence, driving results, and fostering team engagement while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to company standards.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in a retail leadership or equivalent supervisory role.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and climbing.
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale and standard retail technology systems.
  • Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Reliable, consistent attendance and professional conduct required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring every interaction reflects professionalism, courtesy, and helpfulness.
  • Oversee staffing activities including recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Coach and develop team members through regular feedback, training programs, and performance discussions.
  • Communicate effectively with the team through meetings, huddles, and one-on-one check-ins.
  • Monitor and achieve performance goals related to: Sales and service outcomes Labor efficiency and scheduling Inventory accuracy and shrink reduction Expense control and operational compliance Customer satisfaction and engagement metrics Team development and retention
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of products, promotions, and company programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
  • Address and resolve performance concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance leadership and operational skills.
  • Perform additional duties as required by leadership.
