Requirements
- Associate's degree in a construction-related course of study or equivalent level of documented construction experience
- 3 years of experience in retail set up/ or general construction
- Knowledge of construction drawings and installation manuals
- Knowledge of basic math principles
- Analytical skills
- Self-Initiative Skills
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Interpersonal skills (including conflict resolution and management)
- Ability to facilitate meetings
- Ability to organize tasks and information
- Knowledge of computer applications (Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat)
- Willingness to travel to stores throughout the retail division, including overnight stays as required.
- Willingness to work nights and weekends when required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in a construction-related course of study or equivalent level of documented construction experience
- 5 years of experience in retail setup and/or general construction
- Knowledge of the standard building code and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Knowledge of millwork installation
Responsibilities
- independently scheduling, coordinating, and providing oversight and guidance to ensure safe, timely, high-quality delivery and installation of all fixtures and equipment in multiple simultaneous retail construction projects including new stores, remodels, and special projects
- independently managing and coordinating multiple simultaneous paint and décor projects in existing stores, ensuring projects are started and completed on schedule and executed according to plans and specifications
- inspecting and directing execution of décor and signage installations in multiple new stores, remodels, and special projects, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications
- determining what cabinetry and millwork is required by plans and specifications and what additional cabinetry and fixtures may be needed for the most functional use of the retail space
