The Retail Service Team Member at Michaels is responsible for delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers with shopping and product location, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience. Key duties include truck unloading, merchandise stocking, maintaining store recovery standards, and supporting Omni channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). Team members are also expected to engage customers in the Rewards program, educate them on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey, and perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties. The role involves supporting shrink and safety programs, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and interacting with others in a respectful manner. Cross-training in Custom Framing selling and production is also a component of this position.
