The Retail Service Team Member at Michaels is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with their shopping needs, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience. Key duties include helping customers locate products, processing transactions accurately, and promoting the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards. Team members also educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey and support omnichannel operations such as Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). The role involves significant merchandise handling, including participating in truck unloading, stocking shelves, implementing planograms (POGs), and maintaining store recovery standards. Additionally, Team Members perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties, contribute to shrink and safety programs, and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies. They are expected to interact with colleagues and customers in a positive and respectful manner, uphold company values, and may be cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
