Securitas is looking for a Retail Security Officer to join their team. The Security Officer position is essential for clients and society, helping maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling various locations. Officers preserve order, enforce regulations and directives for client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. They frequently provide customer service and information to employees and customers. No prior experience is necessary; individuals with retail, food service, or hospitality backgrounds are a great fit, and training will be provided for those new to the security industry. Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have excellent Customer Service skills.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Actively monitors the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations.
• Preserves order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Provides customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
• Perform heavy patrol duties.
• Occasional driving required.
