Guilt Gift Shop is seeking an experienced Retail Sales Clerk who will provide excellent, professional, and courteous retail service to guests and Team Members. Excellent guest service skills are required. Ideal candidate will have the ability to maintain product knowledge and familiarity with all items. A minimum of 6 months previous cash handling experience required. Will be responsible for counting, receiving, and tagging all store products. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift at least 15 lbs. Principle Responsibilities and Duties: Maintains a high quality of guest service according to Silverton Values. Checks for proper identification of a guest appearing to be under the age of 35 years old. A thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future. The ability to maintain product knowledge and familiarity with all items. Adheres to all appearance and uniform standards. Maintains an open line of communication with Managers. Maintains a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow Team Members, and Vendors. The ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner. Regular attendance to all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job. Arriving on-time for all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job. Maintains a professional, courteous, and helpful attitude while greeting guest with a smile and eye contact with 10 feet of the store entrance. Assist customers within 1 minute of entering store. Introduces to customers new products, answering questions, and going out of your way to meet customer needs. All staff will maintain an accurate daily cash balance and will be held accountable for any overages and shortage of their cash drawers during their shift. Other duties as assigned.
