Retail Projects Specialist Technology | Shelton, CT Reports to: Manager, IT Retail Systems Role Overview The IT Retail Infrastructure Project Specialist is responsible for supporting and coordinating retail infrastructure related projects across all Richemont Maisons. This role ensures the smooth implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of IT systems, including point-of-sale (POS), networking, and back-office solutions. The coordinator will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and store management to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Experience in project coordination or management within retail or IT environments.
• Strong understanding of retail IT systems (POS, networking, hardware).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
• May require occasional travel to retail locations and flexibility to work outside standard business hours to support project deadlines.
• The ideal candidate is a team player with a proactive approach and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing IT infrastructure projects for retail stores, including new store openings, relocations, temps, pops ups, closures, system upgrades, and network deployments.
• Coordinate with vendors, technical teams, brands, and store personnel to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and report status updates to management.
• Maintain documentation for project plans, schedules, and technical requirements.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of infrastructure issues during project rollouts.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and security policies.
