About The Position

SymphonyAI Retail is a leading provider of advanced AI-driven solutions and services specifically designed for the retail industry. We empower retailers and consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies with innovative technology to enhance their operations, optimize decision-making, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Enterprise Sales Executive to join our team, focusing on hunting new business opportunities within the retail CPG sector. SymphonyAI is now hiring a Pre-Sales-Solution Consultant to lead AI-powered transformation in retail and CPG. This role combines deep expertise in merchandising, supply chain, and store execution with the ability to engage C-level executives and shape strategic direction. You will empower top retailers and CPGs to unlock results that were previously out of reach, across merchandising, demand forecasting, inventory, promotions, and store operations.

Requirements

  • Experience: 7+ years in SaaS, supply chain solutions, or consulting for retail and CPG.
  • Retail & Supply Chain Expertise: Strong understanding of merchandising, store execution, category management, demand forecasting, replenishment, logistics, and inventory optimization.
  • Executive Engagement: Proven ability to work with C-suite leaders and drive AI adoption.
  • AI & Analytics Knowledge: Experience with AI-powered forecasting, prescriptive analytics, and decision intelligence.
  • Communication: Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and persuasion skills.
  • Results-Driven: Track record of delivering revenue growth, cost savings, and operational improvements.
  • Proven Closer: Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas, accurately forecasting pipelines, and prioritizing high-value opportunities.

  • Certifications: APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management), CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), PMI (Project Management Institute), or Six Sigma. Optional, not required

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-impact discussions with executives on how AI is reshaping merchandising, supply chain, and store operations.
  • Conduct discovery workshops to align AI capabilities with customer challenges.
  • Develop and present clear, compelling strategies and value assessments that resonate with CEOs, COOs, and supply chain leaders.
  • demonstrate AI-driven solutions for merchandising, forecasting, replenishment, and execution.
  • Identify opportunities to improve pricing, promotions, inventory, store operations and logistics.
  • Understand, shape, and influence customer demand through pricing, promotions, product assortment and planograms.
  • Improve forecast accuracy, reduce waste, and enhance supply chain agility.
  • Show, don’t tell—deliver live product demonstrations that make the value of AI self-evident.
  • Enable the end-to-end sales process, from discovery to implementation.
  • Build ROI-driven business cases, proving AI’s impact on revenue, costs, and efficiency.
  • Lead pilots, proofs of concept, and ensure smooth adoption and execution.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for retailers and CPGs adopting AI across merchandising and supply chain.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in AI, demand planning, and omnichannel supply chain optimization.
  • Work with Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success and Marketing to refine product positioning and impact.
