How you’ll make an impact in this role Medication Preparation and Inventory: Compound sterile and non-sterile medications. Repackage bulk medications. Manage and replenish automated dispensing units. Maintain inventory control, including preparing supply orders for the department. Oversee the receiving and proper storage of all incoming supplies. Communication and Coordination: Serve as the central communication hub. Triage incoming calls. Share essential information among the pharmacy team, patients, and other healthcare professionals. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Registration with the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board required. Must provide proof of application to register with the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board and once registration is granted, must be maintained. Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred. Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
