Retail Pharmacy Technician
About The Position
AltaMed is seeking a Retail Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with performing pharmacy-related duties. This role involves performing packaging, manipulative, repetitive, or other nondiscretionary tasks within established standards and guidelines, as well as clerical functions, all under direct supervision. Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- A Pharmacy Technician License through the California State Board of Pharmacy
- A valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician
- Bilingual English/Spanish
