About The Position

The mission of West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is to 'Serve West Point and the Long Gray Line.' WPAOG is both the alumni association and foundation for the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point. Our vision is to ensure the Long Gray Line remains the most highly connected alumni body in the world. USMA is renowned as the world's preeminent leadership development institution. The student body, or Corps of Cadets, numbers 4,400, and each year approximately 1,000 cadets graduate and are commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army. The West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is seeking a Retail Operations & Website Coordinator. This position reports directly to the Director of Retail Operations, with daily oversight by the Chief Graphic Designer. The Retail Operations & Website Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the Gift Shop website including but not limited to: ensuring new product is uploaded in a timely manner; removing all discontinued product; using necessary programs such as Adobe Creative Cloud Suite to create and maintain visually impactful photographs of product; properly categorizing product to enhance the online shopping experience; uploading web banners seasonally; and overall maintenance. Incumbent will also assist in special event product planning, creating special event pages (both digital and print), as well as working with the Chief Graphic Designer and Merchandise Planner to develop and maintain marketing across multiple platforms, including social media. Additionally, the coordinator may be required to work in the brick & mortar store during peak days, including all home football games and graduation, as well as all other duties and days as assigned by the Director. An associate's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience in graphic design preferred. Above average knowledge of basic web technologies, and Adobe Create Cloud programs, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator are required for this position. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel also required. Knowledge of HTML and Celerant Mura is a plus. Excellent customer service and communication skills plus the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work with minimal supervision are essential. The incumbent must also be responsible, highly organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and possess a positive attitude. Excellent writing, organization, and time management skills are necessary. This is a 32 hour a week part-time position with excellent benefits in a pleasant work environment. The salary range for this role is $20.00-$22.00 an hour depending on skills and experience. Requirements
