About The Position

All our merchandisers are on an as needed basis. Most of our work is considered project work, consisting mostly of jobs that take 1 hour to complete, with exceptions for resets or other jobs requiring more time in the store. Merchandisers for SRS (Strategic Retail Solutions) are expected to be well-rounded, with experience in all phases of merchandising, including audits, building racks and displays, resets (shelf and pegboard work), pull & plugs, POP/POS placement, and planogram implementation and maintenance. They are also expected to use their friendly, outgoing personalities to build strong store relationships while meeting client needs. This role is explicitly stated NOT to be considered full-time or part-time work, but rather along the lines of Gig Work, and work may not always be readily available in the immediate area.

Requirements

  • Self-starter and quick learner who can work independently

  • Tech savvy with experience in taking photos, completing surveys and uploading to a platform
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong and effective communicator with problem solving skills
  • Flexible schedule
  • Understand the importance of meeting the client's directives before the deadline
  • Must have an Android or iPhone
  • Must have internet access and know how to access Google from your phone
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • 1 year experience in understanding how to read and implement planograms
  • 1 year experience in merchandising
  • 1 year experience in resets
  • Ability to speak and read English
  • Access to a printer when needed
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid, non-expired Driver's License required
  • Able to travel within the assigned region (up to 15 miles)
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Smartphone with data plan for mobile reporting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Available for weekend and weekday assignments
