About The Position

TJX Companies, a Fortune 100 company and leading off-price retailer, is opening a new TJ Maxx store in Wilmington, Ohio. This part-time Retail Markdown Associate position is responsible for providing a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role requires adherence to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. Associates may be cross-trained to work in various areas of the store to support business needs. Requirements

Possesses excellent customer service skills
Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
Possesses strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
Capable of multi-tasking

Responsibilities

Delivering a highly satisfied customer experience proven by engaging and interacting with all customers
Embodying customer experience principles and philosophy
Maintaining a clean and organized store environment
Adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards
May be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store in order to support the needs of the business
Role modeling established customer experience practices with internal and external customers
Supporting and embodying a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
Accurately ringing customer purchases/returns and counting change back to customer according to established operating procedures
Promoting credit and loyalty programs
Maintaining and upholding merchandising philosophy and following established merchandising procedures and standards
Accurately processing and preparing merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards
Initiating and participating in store recovery as needed throughout the day
Maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participating in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store
Providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback
Adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
Supporting and participating in store shrink reduction goals and programs
Participating in safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment
Other duties as assigned
