About The Position

The Food & Beverage Manager leads our Grab‑and‑Go and broader F&B operations at Miami International Airport, overseeing a business that generates up to $5M in annual sales. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring strong financial performance, maintaining brand and regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive work environment, all while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5–7 years of F&B management experience within the convenience or grocery industry
  • Inventory and receiving experience required; SAP knowledge is a plus
  • At least 3 years of P&L management experience.
  • Ability to interpret financial reports and KPIs (sales, labor cost, inventory turnover).
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Strong leadership, delegation, and team development skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive operational excellence.
  • Utilize planogram experience to ensure proper product placement, merchandising standards, and consistent store presentation
  • SERVE SAFE Cert will need to be obtained if hired.
  • Requires a varied schedule, including opening, peak, and closing shifts to monitor operations and staff performance

Responsibilities

  • Manage operations and inventory for our Grab‑and‑Go program, including all coolers and food offerings across our 11 retail locations.
  • Utilize planogram experience to ensure proper product placement, merchandising standards, and consistent store presentation
  • Partner with the Stock and Inventory team to ensure all coolers and retail locations remain fully stocked at all times.
  • Ensure smooth opening and closing operations, hold Shift Managers accountable for completing checklists and maintaining standards.
  • Lead workforce planning, scheduling, and shift coverage; participate in interviewing, hiring, promotions, and terminations when needed.
  • Take full ownership of P&L performance; review operational and financial reports to drive revenue growth and meet profitability goals.
  • Oversee ordering, receiving, and vendor partnerships; ensure equipment is maintained; reduce waste and support food donation initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, CBAs, lease requirements, and landlord expectations
  • Provide ongoing training on planograms and train staff on updated systems and processes.
  • Resolve complex customer and team concerns
  • Maintain strict compliance with all federal, state, and local health and safety regulations; train the team on safety protocols and audit readiness.
  • Use management tools such as POS, inventory systems, and scheduling software
