About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Retail Manager 2 to lead retail food service operations at Erlanger Baroness Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing up to 25 hourly associates across 7 retail food service outlets . The Retail Manager 2 will be responsible for daily execution of operations, team engagement, customer satisfaction, and financial performance, while maintaining Sodexo’s high standards for food safety, quality, and service. This role is ideal for a Sodexo Retail leader or a Fast Casual General Manager with strong operational and people leadership experience looking to transition into healthcare dining. What You'll Do Lead and support day-to-day retail food service operations across multiple outlets , ensuring consistent quality, service, and cleanliness Directly manage, coach, and develop up to 25 frontline associates , including training, performance management, and engagement Maintain a hands-on presence in operations, including light food prep, service, and floor leadership as needed Create and manage staffing schedules , ensuring appropriate coverage while controlling labor costs Process timekeeping and payroll accurately and on time, o versee cash handling, POS systems Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and Sodexo standards What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Requirements

  • 2+ years of management experience in retail food service, Fast Casual, QSR, or similar high-volume concepts
  • Strong background in team leadership, scheduling, and payroll
  • Comfortable being hands-on in food preparation and service
  • Knowledge of cash management, inventory, and operational controls
  • Proven ability to lead through customer service and accountability
