About The Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary: • Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members. • Follow standards of neatness and cleanliness for the shop in order to maintain customer appeal • Know features and benefits of merchandise in the retail shop and be familiar with merchandise offerings • Follow policies and procedures that affect inventory control • Maintain product knowledge of gaming facility events, activities, and amenities around the facility to ensure personalized guest services • Ensure interactions with internal and external guests follow the guidelines of the Service Program • Supervises and schedule Retail Sales Staff. • Responsible for coaching, counseling and developing representatives to their fullest potential. • Develops good rapport with all customers and players. • Ensures that the retail store is always stocked, presentable and clean. • Assists Retail Sales Clerk with transactions, as determined by customer volumes. • Supervise team members engaged in sales work, maintaining inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts, maintaining operating records, and preparing daily records of transactions for the Finance Department. Locks and se cures store. • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years related experience and/or training preferred
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
  • Ability to earn and maintain TiPS certification
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license
  • Ability to read and interpret documents In English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.
  • Written communication skills in English may also be required.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Must be able to efficiently and accurately count money and gaming chips and make a change.
  • Possess the ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Team members must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
