About The Position

The Retail & Guest Services Associate delivers an exceptional experience for every visitor during our busy winter season. This hybrid position supports both the Gift Shop and Exhibition Front-of-House teams — greeting guests, processing sales, maintaining a welcoming environment, and helping ensure safety and fun throughout the space. You’ll handle a variety of responsibilities including ticket and retail transactions, guest assistance, exhibit monitoring, and maintaining clean, organized areas.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1–3 years of customer service or retail experience
18 years of age or older
Flexible schedule with ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable learning and using POS systems and basic computer software
Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced or challenging situations

Nice To Haves

Experience with Vend POS or Google Drive
Bilingual or multilingual
Prior experience in retail, hospitality, museum, or entertainment environments

Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
Sell admission tickets and retail merchandise using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Handle card transactions accurately.
Share information about Meow Wolf’s exhibits, events, and policies.
Monitor crowds and exhibits to ensure guest and facility safety; report issues as needed.
Restock merchandise, conduct inventory counts, and maintain product knowledge.
Support special events or 21+ functions as needed, following proper safety and access protocols.
