Role Overview: The Retail General Food Service Worker performs a wide range of duties involved with preparing and/or serving food and beverages in one or more of a variety of food service environments. May assist in set up and service, and collection of garbage/trash, as appropriate to the area of operation. May serve food to customers and/or perform cashiering duties, as appropriate. 

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of Culinary/ Hospitality Experience

Responsibilities

Hospitality Support:Interacts with guests and customers at events with professionalism, service, and grace, upholding the customer service expectations of CDS and the client/account.
Kitchen Support: Sets up food service, kitchen, or salad area facilities, equipment, and utensils, under detailed instruction,in accordance withspecific area needs; checks food temperatures and/or prepares areas for daily operations; may operateookingor bakery equipment as assigned.
Maintain Cleanliness:May clean and maintain work areas, including floors, facilities, dishes, utensils, and equipment; collect and place garbage and trash in designated containers; as appropriate to the area ofoperation.Washespots, pans, and other service ware, ensuring sanitary handling; organizes and replaces service ware to proper locations.
