About The Position

As a Fragrance Sales Associate, you are responsible for creating a warm, welcoming environment through genuine hospitality and exceptional customer service. You will engage customers with personalized fragrance recommendations that reflect their style, mood, and preferences, making them feel confident, valued, and inspired. This role requires you to be both a beauty enthusiast and a product expert, demonstrating and selling a wide range of fragrances and related beauty products, while educating customers on notes, layering techniques, and usage. You will contribute to a seamless shopping experience by fostering meaningful connections, anticipating needs, and delivering service with care.

Requirements

  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Must be able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Must be able to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
  • At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience required.

  • Engage customers with personalized fragrance recommendations that reflect their style, mood, and preferences.
  • Demonstrate and sell a wide range of fragrances and related beauty products.
  • Educate customers on notes, layering techniques, and usage.
  • Contribute to a seamless shopping experience by fostering meaningful connections, anticipating needs, and delivering service with care.
  • Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, and stay up to date on current trends and promotions.
  • Help ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers.
  • Offer a warm welcome, make eye contact, and create friendly, personal conversations to build customer relationships.
  • Maintain a shoppable space by merchandising new receipts, processing damages, testers, and select merchandise to return to vendors, updating signs and pricing, and supporting any needed merchandise moves.
  • Share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have all they need, and end with a sincere thank-you.
  • Support teammates with honesty, care, and collaboration.
  • Strive to improve every day, take pride in work, achieve sales goals, and learn from each other.
  • Engage customers with warmth and expertise by acknowledging them promptly, assessing their preferences, demonstrating fragrances, and offering tailored product recommendations.
  • Drive sales and loyalty by using clientele tools to build lasting relationships, promote new launches and events, and collaborate across the Beauty team.
  • Maintain a polished and efficient environment through accurate merchandising, inventory upkeep, hygiene and compliance standards, and the effective use of point-of-sale and mobile selling technology.
  • Communicate and collaborate with customers and colleagues.
  • Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized and shoppable space, leveraging clienteling tools to promote offers and product launches, participating in sales events, and staying up to date through ongoing training and vendor education.
  • Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.
  • Meet and surpass daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service.
  • Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions and enhance the shopping experience.
