About The Position

THE RETAIL E‑COMMERCE ANALYST SUPPORTS THE EXECUTION AND ANALYSIS OF DIGITAL SALES AND MARKETING INITIATIVES ACROSS DTC AND KEY RETAIL PARTNER PLATFORMS. THIS ENTRY LEVEL ROLE IS DESIGNED TO BUILD FOUNDATIONAL KNOWLEDGE OF E‑COMMERCE SALES, DIGITAL MERCHANDISING, AND ONLINE MARKETING WHILE CONTRIBUTING TO THE OPTIMIZATION OF PRODUCT CONTENT, CAMPAIGN EXECUTION, AND PERFORMANCE REPORTING. WORKING CLOSELY WITH THE DTC MANAGER AND CROSS‑FUNCTIONAL TEAMS, THE ANALYST HELPS ENSURE ACCURATE, COMPELLING DIGITAL PRODUCT EXPERIENCES, SUPPORTS RETAIL PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITY, AND ASSISTS IN TRACKING PERFORMANCE METRICS TO INFORM OPTIMIZATION OPPORTUNITIES. THIS ROLE OFFERS HANDS‑ON EXPOSURE TO THE END‑TO‑END E‑COMMERCE PROCESS AND IS IDEAL FOR A DETAIL‑ORIENTED, ANALYTICAL INDIVIDUAL EAGER TO LEARN HOW DIGITAL MARKETING AND ONLINE RETAIL DRIVE REVENUE GROWTH.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field
  • Digital marketing proficiency (SEO, PPC, social media)
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools
  • Proficiency of MS Office Products, Businessmap and Adobe - Photoshop
  • High level Business Communications Skills
  • Understanding of the omnichannel retail environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with big box retailers and digital marketing
  • Understanding of horticulture/live goods industry
  • 2+ Years’ experience in account-based marketing or management

Responsibilities

  • SUPPORT THE CREATION, MAINTENANCE, AND OPTIMIZATION OF DIGITAL PRODUCT LISTINGS ACROSS DTC AND KEY RETAIL PARTNER PLATFORMS WITH A FOCUS ON TRAFFIC, CONVERSION, AND SALES PERFORMANCE.
  • ENSURE PRODUCT DETAIL PAGES (PDPS) MEET ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, AND BRAND STANDARDS WHILE ANALYZING CONTENT EFFECTIVENESS AGAINST DIGITAL SHELF KPIS.
  • ASSIST WITH SEO AND KEYWORD OPTIMIZATION EFFORTS BY RESEARCHING SEARCH TERMS, IMPLEMENTING UPDATES, AND MONITORING IMPACTS ON PRODUCT VISIBILITY.
  • MONITOR SITE SEARCH RESULTS AND PRODUCT DISCOVERABILITY, IDENTIFYING CONTENT GAPS, ERRORS, OR OPPORTUNITY AREAS AND ESCALATING INSIGHTS TO INTERNAL TEAMS.
  • LEARN TO ANALYZE PAGE‑LEVEL AND PRODUCT‑LEVEL PERFORMANCE METRICS TO SUPPORT CONTENT OPTIMIZATION.
  • SUPPORT THE EXECUTION OF RETAILER‑LED DIGITAL MARKETING PROGRAMS, PROMOTIONS, AND PAID MEDIA INITIATIVES THROUGH ASSET COORDINATION AND PLATFORM SETUP ASSISTANCE.
  • TRACK CAMPAIGN PERFORMANCE METRICS (TRAFFIC, CONVERSION, SALES LIFT, ROAS WHERE AVAILABLE) AND ASSIST IN COMPILING REPORTS AND RECAPS.
  • MAINTAIN ORGANIZED DOCUMENTATION OF RETAILER REQUIREMENTS, PROMOTIONAL CALENDARS, AND CAMPAIGN RESULTS TO SUPPORT PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS.
  • ASSIST IN RETAIL PARTNER COMMUNICATIONS RELATED TO CONTENT UPDATES, PROMOTIONAL EXECUTION, AND ONLINE VISIBILITY INITIATIVES.
  • SUPPORT THE DTC MANAGER BY GATHERING COMPETITIVE BENCHMARKS AND RETAILER PERFORMANCE DATA TO INFORM FUTURE E‑COMMERCE STRATEGIES.
  • PARTNER WITH MARKETING TO SUPPORT THE DEPLOYMENT AND OPTIMIZATION OF PRODUCT IMAGERY, ENHANCED CONTENT, AND VIDEOS, TRACKING PERFORMANCE WHERE AVAILABLE.
  • ASSIST WITH THE CREATION, UPDATING, AND QUALITY CONTROL OF RETAILER AVAILABILITY AND INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEOS TO ENSURE ALIGNMENT WITH PLATFORM REQUIREMENTS.
  • COLLABORATE CROSS‑FUNCTIONALLY WITH MARKETING, SALES, OPERATIONS, AND EXTERNAL PARTNERS TO ENSURE ACCURATE AND TIMELY EXECUTION OF E‑COMMERCE INITIATIVES.
  • LEARN E‑COMMERCE WORKFLOWS, TOOLS, AND REPORTING PROCESSES, BUILDING FOUNDATIONAL KNOWLEDGE OF HOW DIGITAL MARKETING AND ONLINE SALES DRIVE BUSINESS RESULTS.
