About The Position

Sender One is a growing, multi-location climbing, fitness, and yoga company with six locations across the South Bay and Orange County. Our purpose is to help people discover themselves and connect with others through climbing. Retail is a meaningful and growing part of our member experience. From climbing gear and branded apparel to food and in-gym essentials, retail supports how our members engage with climbing and our spaces. The Retail Coordinator is a gym-facing role responsible for how retail shows up across all Sender One locations. You will spend the majority of your time in gyms, working directly with managers and staff to ensure products are well presented, properly stocked, and actively selling. This role reports to the VP of Growth Marketing and works closely with the Retail Strategy and Inventory Manager, who owns inventory systems, ordering, and vendor relationships.

Requirements

  • Experience in retail, merchandising, or a customer-facing sales
  • Takes pride in clean, organized spaces and strong attention to detail
  • Able to manage time, move between locations, and follow through
  • Builds trust easily and works well with different teams
  • Clear communicator who takes initiative and gets things done
  • Excellent customer-facing experience and skills
  • Proficient knowledge of the climbing industry
  • Proficiency in G-Suite
  • Basic knowledge of Sender’s retail vendors and products available in our shops
  • Proficiency in Rock Gym Pro (RGP)
  • Comfortable with hands-on work like lifting, moving product, and climbing ladder

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in climbing or community-driven spaces is a plus
  • Skills in visual merchandising a plus

Responsibilities

  • Keep retail areas clean, organized, and inviting
  • Restock and adjust product placement so it’s easy for members to shop and try on
  • Support new product launches and seasonal updates
  • Notice what’s working and what’s not, and take action to improve
  • Maintain strong, consistent retail standards across all locations
  • Support basic product knowledge so staff can speak confidently about merchandise
  • Bring energy and reinforce simple, consistent retail practices
  • Partner on inventory analysis and POS execution
  • Walk gyms regularly to review retail spaces and check inventory
  • Flag low stock, manage transfers, organize back stock, and support cycle counts
  • Ensure pricing and labeling are accurate and easy to understand
