About The Position
Arcus is seeking a part-time In Store Cleaner for the Sainsbury's Denton store on a permanent basis. This role is vital for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety for customers within Sainsbury's supermarkets. The position offers 17 hours per week at an hourly rate of £12.71, with an immediate start available. The work involves various shift patterns, including early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, as well as weekend work. Overtime opportunities are also available. Cleaners will perform daily tasks such as operating machinery and carrying out thorough cleaning activities. A smartphone with NFC capability is required for time and attendance tracking via the Arcus Connect App.
Requirements
- An eye for detail and cleanliness
- A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service
- Provide a smartphone that has NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App that we use for recording time and attendance
Nice To Haves
- Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied
Responsibilities
- Operating machinery
- Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean
- Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
- Working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied
