About The Position
Arcus is looking to recruit a part-time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Sunderland store on a permanent basis. The role involves ensuring cleanliness in a customer-focused environment, working as part of a team to produce sparkling results for customers. Cleaners are a vital part of the company, taking pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. The position is for 20 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71, with an immediate start available. Various shift patterns are offered, including early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, with weekend work. Overtime opportunities are also available.
Requirements
- An eye for detail and cleanliness
- A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service
- Provide a smartphone that has NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App that we use for recording time and attendance

Responsibilities
- Operating machinery
- Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean
- Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
- Working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied
