About The Position

The Retail Cashier position is focused on providing exceptional customer service while managing the checkout process in a fast-paced retail environment. The role involves greeting customers, processing transactions, and maintaining store cleanliness, all while adhering to company policies and legal regulations.

Requirements

• Availability to support business needs for a 24/7 operation including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Must be of legal age to sell regulated products including alcohol and tobacco.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude.
• Experience leading by example and a strong sense of teamwork.
• Ability to think quickly on your feet and react to change.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Cashier or Customer Service experience is a plus.
• A willingness and passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile and thank them for their business.
• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Suggest purchases to promote store specials.
• Accurately ring up sales and merchandise, offering available discounts/promotions.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Restock shelves, displays, and coolers as needed.
• Clean fast-food area, equipment, and stock as needed.
• Ensure proper sanitation and food handling procedures are followed.
• Properly label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
