About The Position
As a Retail Cashier/Customer Service Associate at Jacksons, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient shopping experience for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back, ensuring that each interaction is positive and memorable. You will deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience, accurately ringing up sales and merchandise while promoting store specials and available discounts. It is essential to follow all company policies and applicable laws regarding restricted sales, ensuring compliance while providing excellent service. In addition to your checkout duties, you will maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, restock shelves, displays, and coolers as needed, and ensure that the fast-food area and equipment are clean and well-maintained. You will also be responsible for following proper sanitation and food handling procedures, including labeling, rotating, and stocking products appropriately. Your role may include additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the store.
