At DICK’S Sporting Goods, the Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer experiences by creating an exceptional shopping experience for customers through their eagerness to help, in-depth product knowledge, high brand and execution standards, and efficient execution of Front-End operations. The role involves greeting customers, understanding their needs, supporting their shopping experience, and processing sales transactions and returns. Cashiers also promote company programs (e.g., customer loyalty program, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment) and adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures. They are expected to maintain confidentiality of Company information, create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected, and take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store. Cashiers will also perform other tasks as assigned by management.
