Do you enjoy delivering quality customer service? Then join the Acme Meijer as a Cashier or Digital Shopper. Cashiers perform various customer service activities, to include greeting and acknowledging all customers in a prompt and friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and bagging customers purchases. Digital Shoppers shop on-line orders, bag orders, take items out to customer's vehicles, and process payments. ALL EXPERIENCES WELCOME, TRAINING PROVIDED! Shift times range between 9 am and 11pm. MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS. Current/previous experience as a cashier in food service or retail a plus. Meijer is not just a way to pay the bills. Requirements

18 years of age or older.
Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually.
Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary.
Desire to work with customers.
Good verbal communication skills.
Detail oriented and organized.
Friendly outgoing attitude.
Ability to operate cashier register system.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail or customer experience preferred but not required.
Current/previous experience as a cashier in food service or retail a plus.

Responsibilities

Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.
