About The Position

The Retail Brand Environment Lead is an integral member of the team and is responsible for defining and implementing the strategic direction for all in-store visual merchandising, marketing initiatives, and facility management in partnership with the VP of Retail. This role ensures that every physical customer touchpoint is on-brand, safe, functional, and optimized to drive sales and enhance the overall brand experience. The ideal candidate will blend creative vision with operational expertise to manage remodels, execute marketing campaigns, and oversee ongoing maintenance across all retail locations. They must have a positive attitude, must have a passion for excellence, never settle for status quo, and be highly results driven. They must be able to give and receive constructive criticisms when pertaining to the work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, visual merchandising, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a role encompassing visual merchandising, retail operations, and/or facilities management.
  • Strong creative flair and design sense, with knowledge of current retail trends and consumer behavior.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple complex projects
  • Experience in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp) and standard business productivity tools (Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross functional teams and external partners.
  • Ability to travel to various store locations and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment; highly self-motivated
  • Strong problem solving and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements overarching visual merchandising strategies and guidelines that align with brand identity and marketing campaigns with input from design, marketing, inventory planning, and VP of retail.
  • Partners with the marketing team to ensure seamless execution of in-store signage, promotional displays, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Leads, in partnership with the VP of Retail, the planning, coordination, and execution of new store openings, store remodels, and upgrades to ensure functional and premium execution.
  • Oversees all facility maintenance, ensuring stores are safe, visually appealing, and compliant with health and safety standards. This includes managing ongoing repairs, prop/fixture inventory, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment.
  • Provides training and guidance to store teams on merchandising standards, proper display techniques, and best practices.
