About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to fully prepare qualified candidates to fill various management positions throughout the bank. All candidates will receive training in all facets of Retail Banking to evaluate the best utilization of the trainee’s talent.

Requirements

4 yr. College degree or equivalent work experience.
Major or focus of study: Business, Accounting, or Finance
Must be able to apply the following principles and processes to day-to-day functions: Accuracy/Attention to detail Collaboration/Teamwork Communication including verbal, written, listening, face to face, telephone, or email Conflict management Interpersonal skills Leadership presence/demonstrated management potential Microsoft Excel Office machine operation Prioritizing, multi-tasking, meeting deadlines, and working independently on multiple projects

Use hands to manipulate, handle, feel, and control items or equipment
Walk, bend, kneel, and reach
Lift up to 10 pounds, using all safety precautions
Stand and/or sit for long periods of time
Talk, hear, and communicate with clients and coworkers in English
See and be able to read, write, and interpret documents written in English.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service both internally and externally.
Acquire and maintain knowledge of the Bank's products and services.
Acquire and maintain a high level of knowledge of the Bank's loan products and be able to fully utilize the OSI and Meridian Link systems.
Support the frontline as needed during staff absences.
Observe, absorb and demonstrate key management skill sets including, but not limited to; developing and executing a team strategy for meeting and exceeding sales goals, facilitative coaching, branch operations and compliance, networking and the development of Centers Of Influence, conducting both personal and business advisory discussions.
Regularly attend work at Piedmont's place of business during regular business hours.
Assist in originating and closing loans.
Provide exceptional customer service and serve as a role model to staff in routine customer interaction.
Assist with all deposit account needs, including cross-selling products and services, as needed.
Support and assist the branch manager as they manage the branch and teammates to success.
Serve as a back up vault custodian, responsible for managing branch cash supply and replenishing staff cash supply when needed.
