About The Position

The Sanctuary Retail Attendant is someone who is who is responsible for providing unparalleled customer service in a 5 Star Hotel. The attendant may be crossed-trained to work in our four stores in the Sanctuary Hotel; the Kiawah Golf Shop, The Beach Shop, Signature Oak, and Elizabeth East. We are looking for individuals who are available to work a minimum of two shifts per week, which includes nights, weekends, and holidays. Individuals must have a knowledge of our golf courses and all resort facilities. Pay Rate: The rate of pay listed on job boards are auto-generated numbers. Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s actual rate of pay will be determined during the hiring process.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education – High school graduate with some college credits.
  • Minimum Experience – Some retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to use Point of Sale System.
  • Must work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Good to excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds across short-medium distance.
  • Must be able to stand on their feet for the full duration of their scheduled shift.
  • Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Processing transactions, returns and exchanges
  • Maintaining a clean workstation
  • Hitting service standards
  • Ensure service is delivered in a consistent, personalized and gracious manner
  • Greet and assist during all encounters with guests
  • Knowledgeable of Resort and Hotel activities, daily events, and Resort and Sanctuary facts
  • Ensure all areas of the operations are clean, neat and organized at all times
  • Upholds the core values and policies & procedures of the resort
  • All other duties as assigned
