Department Food Services Full Time, Part Time and Intermittent Opportunities Available! Job Summary Under general supervision, assists with making meal selections, ordering and selling appropriate add-on items. Work various retail food stations as assigned. Responsible for set-up, service and clean-up of meals served during shift. Interact and communicate with all customers, visitors, and employees in a friendly and respectful manner. General cleaning and stocking as assigned. Follows and implements HACCP guidelines.
Requirements
- No High School Diploma and/or No GED required
- No experience
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of safety hazards and necessary safety precautions sufficient to be able to establish a safe work environment.
- Knowledge of chemicals and equipment used to clean surface areas sufficient to be able to maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Skill in understanding and following oral, illustrated, written or demonstrated instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively
Responsibilities
- Prepares a variety of foods according to customers' orders or supervisors' instructions, following approved procedures.
- Participates in post meal cleanup tasks as assigned or directed, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, and working in dish room and pot room as needed.
- Assist Cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed and provide cooks with needed items.
